On Friday 21 November, from 17h00 onwards, we will have our last bimonthly jam session of 2025! The jam session will take place in the Large Locale, which is located in building 566. Our previous jam sessions have been a great success and we are happy to invite you to this one. Feel free to bring your friends, even if they are not a member of the music club. Beer, whine, soda and snacks will be provided and at around 19h00, we will order pizzas to snack on. For your information, the Large Locale is equipped with:

• A fully equipped five-part acoustic drum kit with a double-pedal and drum sticks;
• An electric guitar and bass guitar (including communal plectrums);
• 3x guitar amplifiers with cabinets and 1x Bass Amplifier 4x10 cabinet;
• A keyboard, synthesiser & hammond organ;
• Full PA system with 4x vocal mics and a digital mixer.

We hope to see you on the 21st!

On Friday the 26th of September, we had our fourth jam night of 2025. And, again, it was a grand success. We've had many nice spontaneous jams, as well as the performance of killer songs, ranging from Valerie to B.Y.O.B., from Stairway to Heaven to Creep. The author's band even met their new second guitarist at the jam. The next jam night is scheduled for the 21st of November, so if you see this, be sure to circle the date in your calendar.

Friday the 25th of July, the CERN Music Club organised its bimonthly jam session. And it was one for the ages! We saw many familiar faces, but also some new people made their way to Building 566 to play some rocking tunes together. Not only that, we saw some uncommon instruments being carried into the Large Locale, such as an electric violin, a didgeridoo and even a Chinese Guzheng!

We are very pleased to see that the jam nights are so well-received and we will definitely continue the tradition. The next one will be late September, so keep an eye on your mailbox for the announcement!

The CERN MusiClub is organizing Music on the Lawn, an informal concert for Club musicians/bands.

Music on the Lawn 2025 will take place on the terrace of restaurant 1 on the Meyrin site on the afternoon of Saturday 9th August.

The music starts at 14h00.

​Four of the MusiClub’s finest bands will be playing live: Nameless, Jerzy & Celia, Skina & the Trailers, Les Freres du Blues.
