Music On The Lawn 2025 PosterThe CERN MusiClub is organizing Music on the Lawn, an informal concert for Club musicians/bands.

Music on the Lawn 2025 will take place on the terrace of restaurant 1 on the Meyrin site on the afternoon of Saturday 9th August.

The music starts at 14h00.

​Four of the MusiClub’s finest bands will be playing live: Nameless, Jerzy & Celia, Skina & the Trailers, Les Freres du Blues.

Location

The concert will take place on the terrace of Restaurant 1 (i.e. just outside building 501) on the Meyrin site.

14.00 - ΠΟΠ Kalamboki (Jerzy & Celia)

An exploration across the timeless and more recent Greek folk soundscape; a fresh take on both traditional and more contemporary songs with a folk vibe, unexpectedly performed by a Polish-Greek duo. Attention: a wild bouzouki may appear.

15.00 - Skina and the Trailers

Skina and the Trailers is a trio of friends who love three things: feeling good , playing live music and composing their own tunes. Melodic songs with a touch of folk and blues, discover the playlist of Skina and the Trailers, recognizable by its groovy bass, its elaborate accoustic guitar and its exclusive singer-drummer.

16.00 - Les Freres du Blues

Les Freres du Blues is a rock band who like to play versions of their favourite rock songs for the audience to rock too !

17.00 - Nameless

Pop goes heavy! Nameless delivers a blend of rapid-fire rhythms and low tunings, reimagining pop hits with a signature heavy twist – and throwing in a few metal covers for good measure. With a dynamic repertoire that bridges genres, they strive to create a high-energy and enjoyable experience for a wide range of audiences.

Access

CERN access card holders

Entrance to the Meyrin site will operate as normal for CERN access card holders:

  • People with BLUE, GREEN (family/retiree) and BLACK (external/club members) CERN cards are able to enter the site using their access card. They are not required to register.
  • People with RED (contractor) CERN cards are not allowed to access the site outside of working hours and are required to register for a visitor pass. Please follow the guest registration procedure described below.

Guests

Guests (friends, family, etc) can access the Meyrin only with a visitor pass. They are required to register on Indico. There will be no on-site registration booth.

After registering, please print the visitor passes and bring them with you along with a valid photo ID. It will not be possible to collect the visitor passes at the entrance of the site.

Note

You will not be allowed to enter the CERN site without either: a blue/green/black CERN access card; or a visitor pass and a valid photo ID!
